Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:30pm 



Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Donor Relations Director will be responsible for launching and managing a middle donor giving program that focuses on increasing fundraising outcomes. Manages all components of middle donor program, including:

  • Develop engagement, cultivation and stewardship program for middle level donors;
  • Prospect research and planning appropriate approach strategies;
  • Staff Junior Board and work to expand its membership, activities and fundraising;
  • Produce fundraising and marketing mailings and execute e-mail solicitations;
  • Design and execute donor-related fundraising and cultivation events;
  • Support Chief Development Officer in general fundraising activities and special events.

  • Record of achievement demonstrating fundraising skill and experience (3-5 years)
  • Superb writing and editing skills
  • Energy, initiative, intellect, flexibility and a team player
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.
  • Computer literacy required; excellent database, word-processing, spreadsheet skills
  • Proficiency with Raiser's Edge software and Excel, Microsoft Outlook preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, and work accurately under the pressure of a deadline-focused job
  • Excellent communication skills; discretion and diplomacy in dealing with the key organizational stakeholders.
